Orphan’s allowance
Children who lose 1 or both parents receive additional support. They’re entitled to an orphan’s allowance (previously known as the care allowance for orphans), providing they’re entitled to the Growth Package.

The social allowance is completely dependent on your situation: your place of residence, your income and your family situation.

The toddler allowance is part of the Participation Allowances and is intended for all 3-year-old children who have enrolled in Dutch-language education in time, and children aged 4 years old who remain enrolled and attend school frequently enough.
